As a passionate and accomplished photographer and visual storyteller, my journey in photography has taken me on a dynamic and diverse path spanning editorial, documentary, commercial, architecture, real estate, and hospitality photography.

Currently, I work as a Vacation Rental Photographer for Airbnb and other hospitality platforms, specializing in creating high-quality imagery that showcases properties, interiors, architecture, and the overall guest experience. I also work in luxury real estate and architectural photography, producing sophisticated visual content for high-end residential properties, designers, architects, and property professionals. My experience as a photographer and long-time property host gives me a unique understanding of how to photograph spaces in a way that is both visually compelling and commercially effective.

Born in Mexico City in 1971, I began my formal photographic education at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, followed by studies in Digital Imaging at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.

My career began as a photojournalist at Reforma newspaper in Mexico City, where I developed my ability to work quickly and intuitively while capturing powerful images that brought stories to life. Through my lens, I documented the vibrant cultural and social landscape of Mexico.

Driven by a desire to explore broader realms of visual storytelling, I transitioned into photo editing, working with distinguished publications including Excélsior and Editorial Expansión. These positions allowed me to develop a strong editorial eye, curate compelling visual narratives, and work with photographers and multidisciplinary creative teams.

My expertise and keen eye for capturing the essence of a moment have led me to collaborate with renowned contemporary artists such as Miguel Calderón and Ariel Shlesinger, as well as with a diverse range of clients and organizations including the University of Texas, Nestlé, Televisa, and Heineken. Through photography and video production, I have helped bring their ideas and stories to life through authentic, engaging visual content.

Beyond my commercial and editorial work, I have dedicated myself to personal documentary projects exploring significant social and historical subjects. I documented Holocaust survivors in Mexico, traveled to Kosovo to document its independence, and participated in a humanitarian mission to Darién, Panama with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), documenting the challenges and experiences surrounding this important humanitarian effort.

My passion for photography goes beyond technical execution. I strive to create images that evoke emotion, communicate a sense of place, challenge perspectives, and tell authentic stories. With a contemporary and artistic approach, I continuously explore new visual languages while bringing decades of professional experience to every project.
